About Us
Our Story
The East Pasco Rebels Cheer program was formed in 2019. Brittany created this recreational cheer program with a desire to bring an affordable alternative to a highly saturated All-Star cheer environment in the greater Tampa area. Our program is located in Wesley Chapel, and we have cheerleaders throughout the area including Zephyrhills, Lutz, Land O'Lakes and more.
With this goal in mind, the East Pasco Rebels program was formed. Our first squad (Eclipse) was created in the late fall of 2019 as a co-ed team. We competed in our first competition in the Spring of 2020. The Rebels took home 1st place and the Sportsmanship Award in our very first competition at Busch Gardens. Due to COVID-19, our competition season was cut short, like other cheer programs throughout the country.
Our Eclipse level 3.1 team picked up right where they left off when the season resumed in the fall of 2020. We have competed in a vast number of virtual and in-person competitions, ultimately resulting in bids to both “The Quest” and “The ONE” National Championships. Eclipse 3.1 just took home 2nd place at The Quest National Championship, which was hosted at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando Florida. The Rebels just took home 1st place at THE ONE Finals for our last competition of the 2020-2021 season.
Our 2021-2022 season was one of our most successful seasons from an awards perspective. We started our National Championship run with 3rd place at the Quest National Championships. Following the 3rd place finish, we came back to 1st place and National Champions at U.S. Finals. We ended our season with another 1st place finish at East Coast Championships.

Our Team
Brittany
Dickinson-Paton
Brittany is the Director of the program and the Head Coach of all of our teams. She graduated from the University of South Florida and has 15 years of cheerleading experience. She is also the Head Varsity Coach at Wesley Chapel High School.
Amanda
Mylin
Amanda is an Assistant Coach for all of the teams in our program. She has coached at the high school level and has over 10 years of cheerleading experience.
Brandon
Paton
Brandon is an Assistant Coach for all of our Rebels teams. He graduated from the University of South Florida and just started his cheer journey when Rebels was created in 2019.
