Meet the Rebels: Building Athletes, Leaders & a Strong Cheer Family
Our Story
East Pasco Rebels Cheer is a competitive recreational cheer program, which was established in 2019 by Brittany Dickinson-Paton to provide an affordable alternative to the prevalent All-Star cheerleading programs in the greater Tampa area. Based in Wesley Chapel, our program unites athletes from various communities, including Lutz, Land O'Lakes, Zephyrhills, Tampa, and more.
Our inaugural co-ed team, Eclipse, formed in late 2019, made a remarkable debut by securing 1st place and the Sportsmanship Award at our first competition at Busch Gardens in Spring 2020. Despite the season being cut short due to COVID-19, we resumed in Fall 2020 with renewed determination. Eclipse Level 3.1 participated in numerous virtual and in-person competitions, earning bids to prestigious events like “The Quest” and “The ONE” National Championships. Notably, we achieved a 2nd place finish at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, and clinched 1st place at THE ONE Finals to conclude the 2020-2021 season.
The 2021-2022 season marked a milestone in our program’s history. We began our National Championship journey with a 3rd place finish at The Quest National Championships, followed by a triumphant 1st place at U.S. Finals, and concluded the season with another 1st place at the East Coast Championships.
Our growth continued over the next two seasons, expanding to four exceptional teams. We are in the progress of finishing our 5th season with three teams and we can not wait to continue our growth heading into season 6!
We’re more than just a cheer team—we’re a family. Our coaches and athletes create a supportive, uplifting environment where every cheerleader feels valued and encouraged. We believe that with hard work, positivity, and teamwork, anything is possible!

Our Coaching & Leadership Team
Coach Brittany
"Founder/Director/Head Coach"
Brittany serves as the Head Coach for our Eclipse team. She also assists with all other teams in the program. A University of South Florida graduate with over 15 years of cheerleading experience, she also leads as the Head Varsity Coach at Wesley Chapel High School, which has finished top 5 in the state 3 years in a row.
Coach Brandon
"Head Coach"
Brandon is the Head Coach of our Flare team. He began his cheer journey with the inception of East Pasco Rebels in 2019 and is a University of South Florida alumnus. He also helps as an Assistant with Wesley Chapel High School alongside his role with Rebels.
Coach Allison
"Assistant Coach"
Allison is the Assistant Coach of our Flare team. She has multiple years of experience coaching, as she is also the current Head Coach for Thomas Weightman Middle School's Cheer Program along with her Rebels role.
Coach Arica
"Assistant Coach"
Arica is the Assistant Coach of our Eclipse team. As a recent graduate of Zephyrhills High School, Arica has many years of competitive cheer experience. She also competed with the Rebels during the first 4 years of the program. We are very excited for her to begin her coaching journey to continue her time with the Rebels Family.
Tami - Aka Boss
"Business Admin"
Tami plays a crucial role in ensuring East Pasco Rebels runs smoothly. She handles many administrative duties, helping our program function efficiently and providing vital support behind the scenes. She also has experience as an assistant coach helping all teams run functionally.
Coach Nikii
"Head Coach"
Nikii is the Head Coach of our Ignite team. She brings over 2 decades of cheerleading experience and knowledge, including a State Championship for Anclote High School. Currently, she coaches alongside Coach Brittany at Wesley Chapel High School along with her role with Rebels.
Coach Mariann
"Assistant Coach"
Mariann is the Assistant Coach for our Ignite team. She brings over 12 years of cheer/dance experience to the team. She grew up locally cheering with Wesley Chapel Pal Vipers, Weightman Middle School, Wesley Chapel High, and Xtreme Outlaws.
Coach Jessie
"Head Coach"
Jessie is the Head Coach for our Spark team. As a current Zephyrhills High School Senior, she is entering her final year on the ZHS Cheer Team. Jessie also competed with Rebels during the first 3 years of the program and we are excited for her to continue with the Rebels Family to begin her coaching career.
Coach Toni
"Tumbling Coach"
Toni is an Army Veteran and current law enforcement officer. She brings over 12 years of experience in competitive cheerleading along with over 5 years of coaching gymnastics, cheerleading, and tumbling.
